Nineteen miles from Dallas, on acres of trees and quiet creek, we offer the perfect getaway for wellness and growth workshops, corporate retreats, scrapbookers, reunions, weddings, vision quests or just a personal getaway.

At the Shooting Star we have created a wellness center amongst the best that nature has to offer. On 24 acres of forest, individuals and groups have a space to work, rest, meditate, teach, learn, celebrate and play. Nature has her own healing rites. If we make the time and take the opportunity to absorb her power, strength and nurturing, she will rejuvenate our souls and refresh our bodies.

The Shooting Star Ranch and Retreat, just 25 minutes from downtown Dallas and 45 minutes from Fort Worth, is the perfect place to bring wellness and relaxation into our busy lives.

We have a variety of settings

The Log House is perfect for meetings in the living room in front of the fireplace or on the large screened porch, has a full kitchen open to the dining room, and sleeps 11 or more with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  There are open porches on 3 sides.
